The story of the famous sculptor is well known and somehow resembles my own artistic experience. Just as Brancusi, a modest sculptor, left the country leaving a life of weight,to live in Paris for entire life,… I went to Belgium to find my way. I exhibited the first time in this beautiful country, I found appreciation and I found myself. Returning to the country, I opened a studio in a school bearing the name of the great Romanian sculptor: Constantin Brancusi. When my country officially celebrated the Brancusi day, I painted this portrait.
